Glad to see the bowl grew from 1 to 5. Modest, but gains nonetheless! Do elective procedures actually come back after covid-19 peaks? Clients already brainstorming how to build trust post-pandemic ..

How do electives not come back? Knee still hurts. Is alternative to just deal with torn meniscus?

Got the absolute worst freaking cold at 38 weeks. Had the flu and covid vaccines and am testing negative for covid but omg I cannot shift this after a week and I swear it's getting worse. Any advice for what I can take?! So decongested combined with baby pressing on my lungs makes me feel I'm constantly short on oxygen so just not sleeping at all :(

On a scale of 1-10 how worrisome do you think it is that I’ve lost 13 lbs in my pregnancy in the past few weeks? Im 19 weeks, I had covid, my husband had emergency surgery that was stressful and the situation spanned a week, I have ADHD and executive dysfunction in general so I’m not good at feeding myself ever. I didn’t have crazy nausea in first trimester. I ask bc my anatomy scan is next week but with a lab tech, not the OB, and I want to know if I should let the OB know/make appointment. TIA

As support staff, I know we're here to make things easier and what not. But is anyone else dealing with their attorneys suddenly not wanting to do ANYTHING and just overall making things more difficult? I understand covid has been rough and some people have their kids at home. I can cover for someone having an emergency or running behind to a meeting, but the attorneys here are straight up not showing up for consults, not responding to emails.

Ladies what would you wear to a work holiday party? It's going to be at a hotel not much have been said about dress code but I have heard in the past (before covid) people would get dresses up and it's formal. Any suggestions on style of dresses/brands to check out?

Should an ad agency be able to thoroughly check my references and ask for my entire employment history (including why I left each job) before agreeing on a salary?

I’ve had 7 interviews, met every stakeholder, was initially approached by one of them, who will be my boss. Plus I’ve had great feedback after every interview.

I was laid off from my previous job because of COVID so don’t have a ton of leverage. But that shouldn’t make me powerless. The process just seems like overkill.

Has anyone been pressured to travel during the pandemic? I had an awkward exchange with a supervising attorney who wants to protect a client relationship from our outside trial counsel who happens to be my mentor and someone that my supervising attorney trusts more than most. “Travel” means flying to a state with rising COVID cases (17% positivity rate and rising) to be in the room for client’s deposition. Nothing has been finalized given supervising attorney tabled when I pushed back.

Seeing your guys posts have me really sad.. So I started at Rite aid 3 years ago at start of Covid when I lost my job (factory) closed with no experience or training.. I’m now MI state licensed, not nationally certified. I fought with the union to get raises in our district and they did give us pay raises on the first of the 2022 year. so making 13.50 with a 25 cent pay raise a year.. I love my job and coworkers and my pharmacist.. but seeing these pay rates y’all have I’m very disappointed.

We both arent “ready” now though. Got my AMH tested - its 2.01 , FSH 5.9. My doctor said its nothing to worry about but i know it goes down with time. She didnt recommend i go to a clinic or freeze my eggs. I dont want to rush into motherhood but i also worry about waiting & the risk that poses
