What experience did you have prior to the program manager role?
Is the bonus split across two years if yes then they are lowballing you
So your TC is what? 170?
I'm at HQ2 in VA. Base is 155. 100k sign on. 15k bonus. 45 RSUs
Eh, not bad for your experience but Seattle is expensive
Since Seattle is expensive, what should I ask for according to you?
It is 173
It is 163 5% vesting
Negotiate the RSUs. Extremely low in my opinion but I don’t know your org and whether your role is revenue generating or not.
Fair for your experience; congratulations
Yes, the offer is fair. 170k with 6 YOE for a non technical PM role?
Very fair offer. You’re currently a senior con. You have got a long way ahead, so it’ll certainly get better in terms of salary in two to three years. Also note that there are a TON of candidates trying for that company. Me included. First year alone you’re bringing in almost $200k at a senior con level which is great. You can always negotiate a location change in two years.
$250k tc and protect yourself when the bonus runs out. They’re low balling you on RSUs imo but there are many factors so can’t say if it’s fair or best you can get.
