Guys is it Performance year to date or Financial Year to Date utilization that is considered. I have looked at the Performance review guide. All it says is Year to Date Utilization. Doesn’t specify

It’s May - April. SHOCKED that my colleagues don’t know this.

July to June.

I thought so too. Performance year was most logical.

Strategy& 1 such a big deal?

like

I mean I’m just surprised. Utilization is so important to PwC leadership, so I would think we would all be on the same page...

Fiscal* Year

Performance year is September to August. Financial year I suppose is Jan to Dec. What is fiscal year or correct me

Performance year begins in May btw

Ok. So which exactly do performance CRT base on

Performance year, May - April

Not if you're never on the bench 🤷‍♀️

Was that supposed to be a dig at S&? If so, I’ve never had below 120% utilization and many weeks tend to hit 180%+

I have been tagged for this project that doesn’t start until June 10th. My utilization is going to drop significantly but at the same time the deployment team cannot present me elsewhere. Ugh!

My RL didn’t have a formal mid year pre CRT review with me. He just pinged me and said: I’ll represent you. Utilization = 75% and average snapshots. Am I at risk?

Do you pay your credit cards in full every month?

I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). It got me thinking about how many people adhere to this advice.

M/23/Cleveland OH/50k with about 3 years of experience. Reaching a critical point of utilization (I'm at about 140 billable hours a month) and considering asking for a raise. What should I aim for?

In the last PDM town hall, they said they were going to lower utilization targets for those that work on projects with capped hours. For those people, have you seen your utilization target lowered? I haven’t seen shit change for me.

About to finish my first year. I’m a specialist. Only going to hit 65% of my hours (took a 4 week vacation cause of wedding/hm).

I never say no to work and i have fantastic reviews, and the head of my practice (with whom I work a lot for) has great things to say about me.

I’ve been fully utilized starting ~June, but first few months were slow. Am i fine?!

Hadn’t noticed this sub before, and most of the threads are old so thought I’d ask a follow up - how has everyone been handling parenting with public accounting? I’ve got a toddler and my wife is an accountant (industry), and we only have a few immediate family in the country- but they have health concerns. Busy season was rough, things are looking better now as things return to normal. Still working crazy hours if you count the daycare duties on top of utilization targets.

I’m quitting my job tomorrow morning. I don’t have a new job lined up. I’m scared, but also excited? I’ve felt under utilized for months, and haven’t had a promotion after two years. I never take risks like this, but life is too short. Is this a bad choice?

I’m not bad with money but definitely lots of room to improve overall, due to several personal factors I don’t want to list in full here (numerous unanticipated medical bills, bad boyfriends, etc.) Hence why I only have $3k in savings right now. My first mini goal is to have $5k saved by the end of December. I need motivation and words of encouragement. If I pay off my medical bills, I won’t make my goal. I have to start putting saving money first. Getting depressed about my situation.

I'm interviewing for the first time in awhile and am entering into a final round with a company who wants me to sign an NDA prior to the interview.
