How much Js7 maximum budget should be??
Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.
Anyone here whose joining is on 27th june?

Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

Just signed my offer. Received the offer five days after interview.
Ah ok. I did the same…only my recuiter didn’t respond to my email 😕. Hoping for the best
I got an offer and didn’t hear back for a week and a half so don’t stress
Did you end up hearing back?
I waited after my powerday over a week for any info, after which I received an informal answer that I made it through powerday and then had expedited team matching within other teams in same org. There is no standard, and with holidays I would just say expect longer response times. It’s quite a few people to bring together at EOY and holidays, with additional decisions to be taken afterwards by hiring manager / team. Then offer prep can also be a factor depending on how above / below the position you are as they can change the proposed level of the position based on you.
Relax, enjoy the holiday season, and don’t panic. I did the whole perusing fishbowl and blind seeking answers right around the time of company wide strategy “workshops”, only taxing my psyche lol.
You got this, we believe in you 🙏
Hey! Currently in this situation, I haven't heard back, and it's been a week. How long did it take for you to get a response?

I don’t have an answer for you, but wish you the best of luck with the offer! If you have time can you give some insight into the power day cases?
Thank you! Honestly from what i have heard all cases are different. In my case I had a tech math base which was set up to look at two systems and there data and come up with reasoning and math on which one is better. My interviewer was great and gave me alot of reassurance (“ok”, “that’s correct”, “tell me more” “that’s not correct but i see where you are going”) things like that so it became more of a conversation which at the end i got right. Good luck!
It really depends on how quickly they can get your interviewers together in a room to review. Hard to find time between 6-7 people, especially this time of year. How long until you hear back is not indicative of how likely you got the position.
Oh ok. That’s a little reassuring! The interview was Friday and I felt it went well(don’t we all). I reached out to the Recuiter but never heard back from him so I’m starting to feel a little nervous seeing it is about to be Thursday and I haven’t heard anything
Hey! Currently in this situation, I haven't heard back after my power day interview, and it's been almost 2 weeks. How long did it take for you to get a response?
Did you send a follow-up email? I'm waiting too and it's brutal. I've lost hope lol
Sometimes it takes a few days. But if it drags out a week or longer, the chance becomes lower. But there are pleasant surprises. I just lost out on a great role that comes from a referral this week. Should have heard back on Monday after the final interview last Thu. Got a note that they took a pass and but it is a very close call. In my case, the recruiter offered a debriefing call which I took up on her offer. Will learn more tomrrow and improve, especially if it is within my control.
Went though two rounds within one week. The recruiter let me know that they went with another candidate. She is nice enough to offer a follow-up conversation if I need it. It feels that they like me but it is a really close call. This does not happen these days and people just leave you hanging. So I took her up on the offer. Plan to build a good relationship with the recruiter or if their 1st choice/pick does not pan out for any reasons. It is often those who are persistant win at the end of date.
How long after you gave them your availability did they schedule you for the interviews?
After mini case round, how long did it take for them to notify you that you were moved to power day?
