Had an interview today with UBS and HR mentioned that for WFH hybrid work they don't provide a laptop—you have to use your own personal laptop.

Found that a bit weird, especially for a bank. Is this normal at UBS or has anyone else come across this?

I currently work at a large research institution and am in the process of getting retroactively reclassified to a new title (Long story but my PI is cheap and routinely pays ppl the bare minimum so now the Union is helping me w/ a retro reclass.) Reclass can take 2 - 6 months to process. Meanwhile, I am interviewing for industry job. If I get an industry job, what do I do if my reclass isn’t processed yet? I want the title and the money owed which may be about $15000- 20000.

My wife is in sales at Mercedes and she has been averaging $200k a year and growing YoY. She loves her job, however she works long days and barely gets time off. Anyone here have experience with schedules on a 20 day rotation? It’s my second year at a new very large elementary school.

Each week’s schedule is different for 4 weeks (20days) and then it starts all over again. 17 of those days I teach 6 or 7 classes and 3 of them I teach 5 classes. I’m terrified of this school year!
