Bain & Company Had my final Bain & Company not too long ago for experienced consultant. Unfortunately was not offered a full time position. Bummer. Cases & math didn’t seem too hard, but hindsight is 20/20. Need to focus on driving forward. Spoke with recruiter at McKinsey & Company for Associate, but didn’t make it to interview phase. Not sure why. Applied to Boston Consulting Group, but got an automated rejection. Brutal out here! Previous big4 consulting experience. Referrals welcomed & appreciated.

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

Anyone working or know about the company ‘TietoEvry’. A friend of mine got an interview call and wanted to know about company culture and pay range etc.

I had an initial interview on Wednesday. About an hour later, I got a call from an internal recruiter from the same company wanting to follow up and see how the interview went. I didn’t see the voicemail until the following morning when I was at work and called her back that afternoon when I was out of work. I still haven’t heard from her. Is this normal? Should I not try calling back again? I’ve been at my job for several years, so I am unfamiliar with how I should handle a situation like this.

I am asked during this RE analyst interview to build a real estate model from scratch. My background is commercial banking and I am used to analyzing real estate deals from the lender side not the developer. The interviewer is generous I must say he’s giving me a few days to complete. However this model is for a ground up multifamily development. I have no prior experience building one. I can find models online but all very complexe to reproduce. How would you handle?
