I don’t get it - if you don’t need to participate, why can’t you listen to a recording or read meeting minutes afterward?
Yes call won’t be recorded and I need to take minutes as well as be up to date on what happens at the meeting

I would dial in to the zoom call via skype if there's a dial in option
I have done it previously on a flight from Australia to US, and on couple occasions on my way back from EU. It was WebEx though. It worked fine.
