Associate producer salary at MAL?
I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

Hi Fishes,

Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Not a recruiter but former govt litigator. Shouldn’t be too hard to transition. Look for city and state litigation jobs. There’s a ton out there. Salary wise, I think you gotta look at higher level positions like “deputy counsel” or “general counsel” to make north of $150k. Note, even though govt jobs don’t have billable hours, some positions require that level of work because they don’t have money to hire more people and raises aren’t guaranteed. No bonuses either generally.
I haven't done it myself but I’ve seen other attorneys make that transition, and while the salary might take a hit moving from firm to gov, the work-life balance and less billable hour pressure can make it worth it. In-house can definitely be a viable next step after government roles too. I'd just consider how much you want to be a federal employee right now too, job security definitely doesn't look as good as it once did.
