McKinsey & Company I did my final round with McKinsey today, and I I received a rejection call from the partner today. However, he said I did really great and wants to keep in touch with me. He also mentioned that I should reapply in 6 months. Does anyone have any similar experience? Do I have a better chance if I reapply next time?McKinsey & Company
I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

There are resume writers who listen well and are strategic thinkers and able to create a narrative that can move you forward. Consider looking outside of the legal space for writers. These writers may not understand the technical aspects of the law, but you can help them with those aspects. Because these writers may function outside of the legal space, they can offer a fresh, greatly appreciated out-of-the-box perspective.
Good luck!!
Here are some names shared with me. Disclaimer: I have not worked with any of these people but it is worth checking them out: they should all be in LinkedIn

There’s so much content on YouTube/blogs on resumes if you’re prepared to do your research you should be able to do it yourself (speaking as someone in a niche area who’s gotten generalist and non-law interviews)
A buddy of mine from law school does this kind of work. https://www.olympicresume.com/
I’ve never used one. I think you’ll have the best luck asking friends in the same field to give feedback.
They’re generally good for formatting and verbiage but for content I would look to friends in your practice area or recruiters
