[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

My coworker left our school and went on to be an Amazon worker. She drives three to four day a week and a 40 hours work week. She seems happier and said she didn’t for her mental health.
Im in the process of doing that. Back on school for my second choice, computer programming.
I love recruiting! It’s a great transition for people who are great communicators and love helping others. And the pay is great! Usually a base salary plus commission, so you get the best of both worlds.
How did you transition into that? Did you get a certification or did you have one you were just putting to use?
I am pursuing a career in financial services on the side in order to transition out of teaching next year. It's low risk to start with the company and I can work on my own hours. They also are paying for my license. If you are interested, let me know and I'll connect you with the right people.
A former co-worker teacher went into DoorDashing...he's so happy now. I went from full-time teaching to working as a residential counselor in a boarding school dorm...talk about eyes wide open and mind so free from stress
Carolene Drake, I don't think door dashing is driving up prices. Increased pay rates and higher gas prices drive up the cost of groceries and fast food. It's simple math. When a company's expenses go up that money has to come from somewhere, so they raise their prices. In the end, people feel good about making more money, but they also spend more because of price increases and they still don't have any money.
Right there with ya. I've been thinking about it non stop all day. I don't know that to do next. This is all I ever thought of doing.
Maybe try corporate training?
You may want to look in to home schooling for 4-6 kids from the comfort of your home. There are a lot of parents out there dreading having to put their child/children in public schools. The behaviors have gotten out of hand.

My daughter moved to Florida when she got a job in Disney's marketing department. she has a 3 year old and she could not find any daycares that had openings. She also use to take him to things like Gymboree and Music classes up here in Michigan, she and her husband ended up finding a wonderful women to come to their home and watch him there. They pay her $20 an hour and her son loves her. She was hoping when I retired that I would come down and open up a daycare center in the Orlando/ Davenport area. Maybe you could do that?
Before I became a teacher, I worked for the Postal Service. It is hard physical work, but you get holidays off, and it pays well. I was making $60,000/year 23 years ago.
