I don't know 50 people I could invite to that either! I've done some networking things with around 15 people and it went really well. I like networking in smaller groups so that I can get to know each person better and form some really strong connections, if there's too many people it can sometimes feel a little intimidating to me.
Seems contradictory...you aren't able to have an effective one on one with a group of 50 people. You'd be far more effective with a smaller group of 15 or less if you wanted to be able to make any sort of meaningful conversation

🤣 I was envisioning something like speed dating. Where you sign up for a coffee chat night, you sit down at a table, have a 5 min conversation, trade cards, the timer dings, and you move to the next table.🤣
This sounds like a year of intentional networking. My guess is it would greatly expand your sphere and, by the end of a year, it would have become a great habit of keeping in touch. Although, I would factor in repeat touch points with those you really wanted to develop.
I hadn't heard of that, but it sounds interesting. But I think by maybe the third month I would have run out of people to have coffee with. Just thinking about it, I'm getting the idea that organizing something like that would be pretty difficult unless you had a big pool of people to pull from. Maybe if a company or an organization sponsored it, that might be feasible.
