Have a $1k allowance for home office setup. Any suggestions for what to get? I think I have everything I need but don't want this to go to waste, only stipulation is that a purchase has to "make me more productive"

Expensive Aeron chair. Then sell it.

A nice office chair like the Aeron, IMO will make things better. Do you need a larger monitor?

That damage from poor posture builds up over time, don’t make the same mistake I did

Personally I’d invest in a good chair (Aeron is my go-to) and a standing mat. Use a stack of books to make a standing desk. Between those two items, your life will drastically improves.

One of those lights that make you look better on video calls. It makes you more productive because you don’t need to spend as much time on contouring.

You’ve piqued my interest. 🕵️‍♀️

I recommend integrating some sort of standing functionality.

I'd honestly use $500-$700 of the $1000 and build myself a brand new computer. You can build a powerful computer for that price. Remaining can be used to buy 2 powerful 4k monitors, keyboard, mouse, and dual monitor stand.

Thanks for the suggestion! A computer is probably okay to expense since the company is very chill - was actually considering getting a phone but idk if that's pushing it too far

How to deal with an exploding offer? I interviewed for a company and was very excited for it. 1 recruiter interview & 1 with a couple team members. Honestly the process has made me so stressed. I'm interviewing with another company at the same time and their process feels warm & they take their time answering

I started working in a agency two months ago, and I have two very big projects running simultaneously. My Creative Director left for paternity leave, and left me with all the work, facing the client, going to shootings, editing. I've been working 15 days straight, no weekends. The agency hasn't given me any back up/someone I can team up with to do the job. Is this normal? I'm used to have a partner, a copywriter or another creative working alongside. Keep in mind that I'm mid-level.
