First, that sucks and I’m sorry. I’m assuming you don’t feel comfortable discussing it with them or think it won’t do any good. I would say manage what you can and manage up where you can. Like if you know they give feedback in the middle of the night, send your work later in the evening and address it in the morning as soon as you wake up. Whatever they’re doing that makes you crazy try to manage it to make it easier on you without pissing them off. Whatever downtime you can reclaim for yourself, do. Control what you can is all I can offer. It’s how I have always coped. And when you’re a CD don’t do any of that shit. If you get more specific I can offer more help. 😊

CD2, our agency got rid of PMs. We’ve been PM’ing our own work on top of executing under tight deadlines and unreasonable clients. Everyone on our team is exhausted and frustrated. Our account people don’t do a great job at managing their expectations. They just say yes. Or if they do push back...hell, I have no idea if they really do, because we aren’t on client emails or calls. While we’ve been WFH, every contact has been relayed to us via email.
I’ve been there. I think I tried to stay focused on my next steps instead of the daily problems. I started preparing to leave the agency.
