I feel like tech companies will take the PM role at the pharmacy way more seriously than consulting. You are actually working on a product.
No if the work you're doing is PM. Consulting is very much a mixed bag with little guarantee you'll be doing the work you like or want to do. Tech companies won't like that if they're looking to hire a PM.
The SC offer seems like more of a BA role whereas the product manager role is more of a true manager role. But Big 4 would allow me to work with multiple products and may be a better “brand name” so i’m conflicted
From the product management standpoint, you'll have more flexibility and industry resources in consulting. If the client/product stinks, you can move. At CVS would likely be harder IMHO
Just because pharmacists handle product doesn’t make them product managers
If you actually have an offer from CVS feel free to message me regarding PM roles.
