Have any Canadian PMs got remote jobs at US companies to take advantage of higher salaries?

I'm a PM based in Toronto, 8 YOE (only 2 as a PM, previously in finance), looking for my next role. Current role at is $100 salary +$20k bonus (CAD)

Based on the info in this group, salaries in the US seem to be much higher.

Are there specific companies that will hire employees based in Canada? Did you pull in a much higher TC? Any other drawbacks or advantages or taking this approach?

Just made major changes to my resume. Applied to a position yesterday and considering withdrawing my application and resubmitting with my new resume. Any advice on if I should do this/not?

Tentative plan is September with flexibility after. Haven’t disclosed how many days will be wfh/in office. Location is NYC

I got a call from KPMG HR for the role of Associate consultant in research team, When she asked me about the expected ctc, I think I quoted less than the market standards but since I am underpaid currently so the amount I quoted was 40-45% hike on my fixed. I have experience of 2.9years
Can anybody please suggest if I clear their interviews will they consider increasing CTC from whatever I quoted becase upon searching for ACon roles they pay much higher than what I quoted.

Hey guys, so I have competing offers. One at Bank of America for 124, and one at Allspring for 110.

Does anybody work at Allspring? They did not provide any information regarding benefits, 401k match, or any annual bonus structure. I was told, verbally, that the Bank of America bonus is something like 15 to 20%, but nothing in writing.

I think living a frugal life and aiming to retire early makes a lot of sense.

Recently, some of my family members are diagnosed with a rare diseases. When you look at the statistics, these are so many of these ‘rare’ conditions and cumulatively they are not rare.

These family members conditions made me reevaluate how I want to spend my life. I am 35 this year and I can’t decide if I should take great vacations with my kids or keep living a frugal life. Do you have the same dilemma?

I have been a PM at my company for 2 years now, with a years prior experience as associate PM. I got promoted before my certification, but was told if I did not get a PMP or ACP I would get my promotion taken away.
Received the ACP and have not seen a raise. Now we have a girl that is getting a 15k raise and going straight from Project coordinator to PM (with one year experience) and no certification. She will now be 5k less than me. If she gets CaPM she gets a 5k raise. Wong to feel slighted?

How many billable hours per week is considered at capacity? I’m getting pushback on boundaries I’m setting about additional matters and marketing work from my firm when I’ve been billing 60-75 hours per week for the last 6 weeks, and I’m still behind on my work. I feel like it’s reasonable to not kill myself further to fit in more/turn things around faster at this point, but am I being unreasonable? A colleague told me today that Google separates Product Manager and Product Owner as two separate roles.
