United. Star Alliance covers a lot of Sky Team gaps
Southwest will make your life the easiest. No change fees, easy to jump on different flights if you have short or long days. But if you value points more than your time at home then go ahead and sit around in the airport and pay $200 in change fees til the cows come home ;)
Most ppl will laugh at me.. but I love southwest! Best amazon giftcard schemes and the buddy pass is really awesome too!
Star Alliance is pretty awesome though. So many potential international flights with those points.
Will be flyin in and out of SFO
I like Southwest but their benefits are easily churnable via credit cards.
AA seems solid.
American has a very solid loyalty/rewards program. I’ve been a loyal AA customer for years and have been very happy with their service.
I like Southwest lol. No change fee. Seems like points accrue pretty quickly for free flights & I don't have to worry about reserved seating. Also, preference is dependent on where you're based out of, I'm sure.
If you are marriot platinum, you automatically have United silver status
I would pick based on the carrier’s hub. Flying to Dallas with American helps with tech issues - when a plane isn’t working they just pull in another one...
I’d take SW out of ATL. If you stick with them, the companion pass is solid and makes-up for the rest. Free internet at A level, etc. Have done both AA and UAL. They’re fine, but you’ll just get annoyed compared to Delta
Southwest.
OP, where are you based out of? That'll narrow your pick based on which one of the airlines have hubs in that location
2 leg it. Or if you’re not willing, see who will status match. Also, check out what type of aircraft flys the route - makes a huge difference (could be an RJ or not have WiFi)
