Hey Guys,
I got a call from Infosys HR on 16-September-2022 that I have been successfully selected for the job position of Test Analyst at Infosys, as per our conversation I have to receive an offer letter within 15 days, but I haven’t received it till now.
Now They have sent a mail that your Candidature is on hold. Is this happened with anyone else also.
Please do suggest on this guys.

Look for hand-me-down toys, gear, clothes etc. So much of the stuff for first two years you only use for a short time.
Almost everything we had for my first was hand me down. I have a box of great baby stuff ready for my next friend to have a kid. Sharing is caring!
They go thru sooo many diapers the first two months (fun!) - I’d say budget maybe $100 max for diapers, wipes and creams. Realistically that number could be as low as $60. Breast milk is free, it’s definitely a labor of love if you’re able to do it. Check your pediatrician’s office for formula samples and coupons. And try consignment shops or FB Marketplace for clothing ... they go thru everything so quickly, you can find brand new items for much less. If you have a shower, you can always ask for diapers or gift cards to help offset some costs. Congratulations!
Worked on baby category. Average cost for diapers and wipes per year is $650
haha thanks
Daycare is expensive, ours is close $1500/month. We started at 15 weeks so I’d definitely add that to your budget unless you’re lucky and live in a country where you can stay home for a year+.
The early days are cheap. Buy the book “baby bargains” if you want to go minimalist. And they have budgeting info as well.
Don’t buy big things until you need them. I stocked up on so many things I never used. Babies are pretty inexpensive to keep happy. If anything, budget for extra self care. Congrats!
$40-50 a month on disposable diapers (Amazon subscribe and save discount!) or $150 a month for cloth diaper service. $100 or so a month for formula, if you go that route.
Your entire paycheck.
Ask for Amazon gift cards if you’re having a shower! I’ve had a couple friends who received them and were able to finish all their shopping with those! Congrats!
ok im getting nervous... wish i hadnt asked!
OP all you can do is do your best. You will find your way just like all of us have and all the mothers before us have. I think what most of us are saying is parenting/mothering is one of the only things you can’t plan. Your plans will change from day to day because one minute you’re BFing and your plan is $0 on food and then your baby has reflux and you have to switch to $50/can formula or the diaper rash cream you used last time suddenly doesn’t work any more and you have to try 3 more to find something to cool that little bum. You got this!
Any pre-during-post vitamins / powders etc one should take other than prenatals?
