Having trouble navigating salary for a top end plaintiffs law firm salary for senior associate position (2012 grad). Mainly handling class actions and MDLs. I’ve only been in single events practice so it’s a whole new world salary wise. Any suggestions so as to what to ask for to not low ball myself? Thanks in advance!

Have them make the first offer ie when they ask let them know you would like to know their budget for the role and expectations. So many people undercut their pay: I never answer first or I give a huge ballpark and say I’m currently between x and z and will be looking for above that

There are plaintiff's side firms that are above market, really depends on the firm. If the firm you applied too isn't even at DPW then I doubt they are as elite as you believe

Hello all! So I’m currently a Realtor in LA. Prior to being a Realtor, I was a store manager for a luxury store in Beverly Hills. I was kind of forced to get out of retail when the pandemic hit so my only option at the time was to jump in to real estate as I already had my license. I’ve been feeling unfulfilled with real estate and truly miss luxury retail. Does anyone have any referrals for luxury retail jobs in Los Angeles? I would love to hear from you! I don’t actually qualify for quarterly bonuses at a pro-rated billing rate; no 401ks till year 2; and the biggest—we don’t qualify for a raise unless we are here during the entire fiscal year. We have a 2100 billable req which I’m barely hitting. We also get paid below 6 figures. I learned that the new associates came is at least $10k over us. I graduated 2020–but 1st firm job. Advice?
