Anyone from Boston Consulting Group Boston Consulting Group (BCG) working in non-consulting - Technology/Engineering/Global Services?
How's the work life balance? Glassdoor reviews are full of "long working hours" and hence wanted to know if it's the same with non-consulting folks as well?
How far is it true across the organisation?
Please help me shed some light to decide.
Thanks.
A BCG recruiter ghosted me after she reached out to schedule an interview. How long should I wait before following up? What is the common courtesy to give to ppl at BCG. I don’t wanna come off as too aggressive but I really need to get this interview set as there are other pending confirmations Boston Consulting Group

Ok
That's so SICK man, you ROCK!
Thanks... I'm so sick of Big 4 life. Just want to live in a city, not commute, and enjoy more flexibility in projects
Such a boss
Op what's the position at the new firm
Senior Associate, but can't really make a lateral translation to a Big 4 rank. Principal is next rank after Senior Associate
Which firm?
Point B
I'm curious about this.
Point B is not even remotely close to a strategy firm...they do almost exclusively tech / PM stuff. Not to say there aren't really good people there but calling them strategy is a stretch.
Well, they're consistently ranked in top 4 for work-life balance and that's what I value. Also like their employee-owner model
Agreed with that OP, people I've met there really like it. And they were often working very flexible hours
What city P2?
Chicago
I'm looking at Denver office
Ah well cheers all the same
Any idea if you have to live near one of their offices? I saw an "associate" role listed as "national location"
Not sure EY3... Not an employee yet
Which function do you currently sit in OP?
FSO IT Advisory
