I am currently evaluating an offer from the S&P Global — Market Intelligence (MI) segment. Could someone realistically share insights about the current layoff situation in India for this specific segment?

How is it that every company complains they can’t find workers yet 9/10 posts on linked in the last few weeks are all about layoffs? And just taking a look at the jobs in your are…why does every job suck and want to pay you 45k?

For those that have been laid off, how’s the job search going? Have you gotten offers fairly quickly (I.e. 2-4 weeks after getting the notice)?

After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy). Add a terrible health situation in my family and it seems there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Ugh. 😞

Anyone else hear that post-CRT partners will get fired this year in commercial advisory? How the hell does a partner get fired....

The week of my wedding, my husband (PL SQL Developer 4 yoe) was laid off. That was a couple of weeks ago. And what are the deductions from Base salary apart from PF ?

As the interview went well.

I have attended a managerial interview which was scheduled for 30 minutes. It also went well. I answered 90 to 95% of the questions.

How much time they will take to give the feedback as we have a long weekend now
