Given interview in Infosys , on 8th Jan 2022. On 12th Jan HR called me and discussed about package. Still I did not get offer letter. May I know how many days Infosys take to release offer letter?

Are there cooldown periods for non tech roles?
Like if you want to apply to another non tech role in a different team (after getting dinged in the on sites), do you have to wait?

I had my package discussion with HR and they asked me to submit the documents for approval. In the meantime I received a link from Capgemini to take the Mocha English Pro test.

Can anyone help me understand what this test is about and what kind of questions we can expect..I would appreciate your quick response as I have 2 days left to complete the test.

I am about to receive an offer from EY GDS for a role of a Business Analyst_Banking finance (Principal Consultant) with a CTC of 27 LPA (inclusive of 10% variable).

I am having 10.5 YOE. Is this grade relevant which they have offered, taking my YoE into account? How much i can negotiate upto in CTC front? I mean the highest slab of Principal consultant?

I recently lateraled into Big Law. Most of my colleagues are homegrown. My shift did involve a big change in practice area, and there's work that I haven't done before that I now have to do.

But, sometimes I feel stupid here, even for work which I have done previously. It's like I'm unable to understand instructions the first time around. And I have seen my colleagues getting annoyed by that. It's like I've become dumb. In my defence, I could say they're giving half assed instructions.
