I am eagerly looking for a job change but I don't want to limit myself to just Marketing (I have 3 years of experience in DM).
What are the other job options available for me without having to start all over again? What is a lucrative business/market/industry r.n.? I would love to work for Blockchain, Defi, AI, ML or even sustainability industry but I am open to other options.
Have any of you did something similar recently and are enjoying the new job change?

I’ve been in community corrections for almost two years. I love what I do in case management, for inmates working on reentry but I would like to explore other job roles and start making a better income. I’m really interested in tech and project management roles. I just do not know where to start far as getting my foot in the door with either industry. I have a BA criminology, I adjust to quick changes, I thrive in fast paced environments and I learn quick. I have a great work ethic.

Hi fishes, I recently joined Accenture, I am from manual testing background and they put me into monitoring team where we need to analyse errors looking at codes, logs and resolve it and the KT that is being given to me doesnt feel enough when I raised concern to TL, TL itself is blaming it on me that I qm not able to understand what is being taught, I am not able to work in the project at all, I requested for roll off within a month, will this imact my career at accenture? someone please sugges

Any advice on a first year trying to transition from family law to in-house? I always thought family law was my path, and used to enjoy it, but it’s not the direction I want to head in anymore. I don’t think I even want to continue with any litigation work. I’m having a hard time finding firms that are hiring entry level associate positions that don’t require at least 3+ years experience in-house. Should I start at a business law firm to get experience working with corporations first?

I am currently working as a Data Science Analyst in Amex and would like to make a switch to Fraud detection/Credit risk modelling in future.(not in a hurry but would like to start preparing for the same)
How should I go about preparing for it? Is MBA the only course?
My current tech stack is Python, Pyspark, Hive, SQL, ML, DL(specifically NLP based). I have already done MS in CS from IIT Kgp.
I am confused mainly cause the tech stack requirement is similar to my role in the company.

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I’ve been a creative strategist, account manager (both agency) and an ad sales operations manager (television/digital media) and I’m tired of bouncing around. I’m trying to narrow down paths that I can take now, but am at a loss. There are so many ways I could go. Because of my last two roles I have a great interest in creative operations type positions, but I’m not quite sure how actually land the job. Any thoughts?

Does the addition of “(level) II” make a difference to anybody? I am the only marketing communications specialist for a lead child-welfare nonprofit. We oversee four counties in two circuits. Director recently gave me add’l merit-based raise (after my annual raise, been here 14 months) & slight title change to Marketing Comm Specialist II. No plans to add a level 1 (would be lower) specialist but will add level 1 engagement specialist to team. Should I update resume/cards or is this confusing?

For context, my small company was suddenly bought out by a large corp. I was about to get promoted to leadership but the new company doesn’t want to honor the title/salary increase we worked out. We only have one significant competitor in our industry, and it’s likely my best option. Love my company, been with them for years, but I’m really struggling with how frustrating this situation is.

Hey folks, I work in marketing and program management and, along with everyone else, the recession is hitting me hard financially. When I try to find companies that pay well, they’re all in tech… but all those companies are laying off, freezing and rescinding offers (had one rescinded myself) 😕 so my question to all of you - what industries/sectors are still in demand for marketers/program managers right now that actually pay well?

I just received a great offer, but accepting it would require me to give up a 4-week paid sabbatical that’s coming up in a month with my current employer. How can I negotiate a late start? For an L7, senior role, can you negotiate a 2 month late start with a potential new employer?
