I cleared LTI all rounds and in HR discussion we came on mutual agreement for 16lpa .I have 7 years of experience and they gave me Specialist - Data Engineering(P3) role. And we agreed I will join with after 60 as I had to serve 60 days notice period. I was waiting for offer letter and when I received the offer letter I was shocked to see that CTC mentioned was 14LPA and joining date was only 15days from now ,which is way early.

Currently on H1B. Trying to decide if I should pursue full-time MBA, or get part-time MBA while working. Just got MBB offer with 30% salary increase. Both MBA programs are top 10.

What are some exits that provide similar pay and intellectual demand to consulting without the travel? Mostly finance paths like IB? PE?

Assuming that I'm okay with a salary of 70K and more, and that I really don't want to work at a law firm. Is it going to be difficult for me to return to law with two years of experience and one year working in a legal adjacent role.

Hey everyone. I found out we are expecting our first child and I’m really nervous. I got into consulting one year ago and I’m up for promotion this year. With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date. I’ve worked really hard and I’m worried our wonderful news will throw chances with this :(- also if I don’t get promoted pretty sure it’s up or out. Any advice?

I interviewed at Amazon for a PM role in Dec. 2020 and was ultimely rejected. I was told I have to wait a year to reapply. Fast forward to June 2022, another recruiter reaches out to me re: a PM role. I pass the screening interview, and move on to the virtual on site interview stage. I randomly get a call from the recruiter telling me there is now a TWO YEAR reapply policy in place so I'm not eligible to interview for any PM roles until Dec. 2022. Anyone ever heard of this policy? Seems strange

A colleague told me today that Google separates Product Manager and Product Owner as two separate roles. Is it common to offer signing bonuses for product managers? I've only worked in small companies and I'm currently interviewing at a much larger company. I am expecting an offer this week, but the salary isn't quite where I want it to be. A signing bonus of 5 or 10k would make me feel so much better (obviously) but it would put me right where I want to be for salary this year.
