I had interviewed for an internship position at EY for technology consultant program for summer 2022 and got a call where they extended an offer. I wanted to know if I can defer the internship offer to fall 2022 or a later start date after summer.
I apologize as I cannot reply to a comment or DM on this platform to anyone, but thanks for your answers in advance.
McKinsey & Company I received an offer from McKinsey & Company in 2021 and I’ll be starting later this year after graduation. Obviously because of the pandemic, inflation is slowly trending upwards. Has anyone asked for a base salary increase before even starting the job? Any advice on how to approach this?

Well, that might be tricky to find a remote role with not a lot of experience. But you could use sites like Glassdoor, Indeed, and LinkedIn to find open roles but don't use those sites to apply Instead go to the company's site and apply directly from there and make sure you tailor your resume for each role. You will be facing a lot of compensation so finding a role will require a lot of attention and detail.
try upwork, fiverr and search there are many more online
Recommend going to LinkedIn as they have the most up to datejob postings and using the remote filter. This will help you to apply to jobs that are only remote. I would also only apply to jobs that were posted within the last week. If they are older than this, the post is probably no longer active/accepting applications that are being reviewed.
Maybe try the temp/contractor route to get some experience under your belt. Sometimes you have to have a job to find a job.
I don't know if there's anything you could do freelance, but if so, then sites like Upwork have opportunities. You could connect with people who need help with accounting, administration, or other business services. Some jobs don't pay well, but occasionally you can find a great opportunity. It's worth a shot!
If you're looking to get into sales or recruiting, they'll often gamble on new college graduates. Do you have internship experience?
I know how starting your career is with a large open slate, especially if you haven't had a focus or anything of that nature yet. Apply to jobs that require little to no experience in a field that you're passionate about.
Maybe you can start with something small like virtual assistant jobs over on the business side so you at least have experience in the industry you want to be a part of. Also, check out the job referral bowl. You might just stumble upon some open positions.
What career roles/companies are you looking to get into? Maybe you can start with that. LinkedIn is the most popular site but I do suggest you visit other sites as well like ziprecruiter or dice.
There's a site called Rat Race Rebellion. They post only WFH jobs, and they pre-vet them, so they're usually legit. Might find something there. Good luck!
Recruitment hands down 100%
You can make a killing and be remote
Check out Ben Nader and David Stephen Patterson on YouTube fuck I wish someone told me this when I was younger
LinkedIn, for sure. If you want some freelancing jobs, you can check Upwork and Fiverr. Good luck!
This is very helpful
