Cisco interviewed me for 3 months for a couple of roles and then offered me comp that is considerably less than my current comp for a product manager role!! They also said its cisco policy to not offer rsu for mcol cities. Rsu is apparently only meant for candidates in hcol cities.
Need to punch a bag every day for several days to get over this bs.

You should go for it! Even if you tank, at least you can say you tried
Yes, always worth giving it a shot.
They gave you an interview for a reason so something on your resume or portfolio must have sparked their interest!
Speak to your strengths and feel confident knowing no one really goes into a job knowing everything. Most things come with time and knowledge you pick up on the way. Show you're willing to learn and grow and that you are currently pursuing this certification. Even if they do decide you're not ready, you can make a good impression for a future attempt.
You won’t know unless you try! Highly recommend going through the book “Cracking the PM Interview” to help you prepare and do research on the types of questions asked for Google’s APM interview.
I agree. And even if you don't get it, you have seen what the interview process looks like and can learn from it when you are ready to try again. Nothing like learning by doing.
I have no additional advice to provide beyond what's already been shared, but I wanted to pass along some well wishes and say best of luck!
Thank you 😊
Go for it and just do everything you can to prepare. You may not get another opportunity like this one.
Congratulations. It never hurts to try.
Thank you, I’ve asked for time to prepare which they were very willing to give and I am just going to do my best
Almost 0%. These jobs are deeply competitive.
- a potential PM interviewer
I thought so, this time I didn’t have a referral I think I got quite lucky getting the interview
Don't assume you're going to blow it! Confidence is key
Thank you everyone it’s made me really determined that even if this is my only chance to just try my absolute hardest and do as much prep as I can.
Thank you!
