I don’t know where to start or what I’m even looking for, but I’m generally interested in criminology, cyber security (no coding experience) & doing research. I’m very social and friendly and enjoy working with people, would also like hybrid work so I can work from home at times.. Any tips as to which roles I should look for? Any specific companies I should look into? (Preferably UK based, but open to most of EU)

Microsoft is offering me a position of Software Engineer. I don’t want to make the same mistake as I did when I joined deloitte but the next level Software Engineer 2 requires 8 YOE so a little confused here on what job title matches my YOE and skillset

I’m in my 4th year at a small plaintiffs’ firm. Past two years I’ve received meager raises (5k) and terrible bonuses (3k). My boss prides himself on allowing me to gain experience so I have more courtroom experience than most attorneys with twice the experience. As I’ve applied for other firms, I’ve been denied interviews based on how my boss is perceived in the community. Can someone discuss the pros and cons of having a gym close to work vs having a gym near home but still would have to commute there, go back home then go to work. To me it seems more convenient to just on the way to work go to the gym, shower, then go into the office.

Hi! I am seeking for an advise, anything helps! I applied to Accenture’s entry level analyst program. I applied a few days ago (I know it’s a bit late, but the application is still open thankfully). Yesterday, I joined a resume workshop w/ an Accenture recruiter. She went through my resume and said that I have a strong one! I’ve also set up a coffee chat w/ her next week. Unfortunately, I got an email today from the system, they decided not to move forward :( Should I reach out to her abt this?

My director gave me a 45 day termination warning. I had a random 1:1 with my director last Friday. She essentially told me I have 45 days to increase my activity (I’m a recruiter that gets measured on daily metrics.) After the 45 days if I don’t meet these requirements I will be terminated. As you can imagine I am panicking a little bit, I’ve confided in a few coworkers and they told me to start looking for a new job because even if I meet these metrics I could still be fired.
