Do tech companies like FAANG hire strategy consultants? Starting at an MBB/T2 next year and curious if tech companies leverage consultants as much as other industries. Part of me wonders if they are in such high growth right now that consultants can’t add as much value, thus maybe a smaller presence. Thoughts?

Hello! I’m a Talent Acquisition Manager at a 300 FTE sized gov contractor with 2 recruiters under me. One of my recruiters and I are both having babies in August and will be out for 12 weeks. I’ve noticed that for some of these jobs that I can check every single box in the job description, I won’t even get an interview. I’m wondering if many of these jobs are posted for internal hires, but some stay open for weeks. What gives?
