I wanted to change careers from my previous position as a quality analyst in customer support. A course in product management is what I intend to enroll in. I truly need a review of the PM course's insights.

Does it truly work well for changing careers?



 

Any designers or ADs here make the jump from advertising/marketing to product? (and adjacently - from agency to in-house tech) Would love to hear about how you pivoted and any challenges/insights.

I’m a creative account manager in retail/eCommerce. I was a creative producer before being an AM.

I’d love to move into tech but I’m not sure how my current creative experience would transfer into tech/at what company. I know there are creative producers/art producers in tech, but what’s the equivalent of a tech creative account manager?

Just how bad would it be to quit without a two week notice? I’ve been bait & switched into a horrible role, overworked to the point of having medical problems, and no amount of diplomatic talks with my manager has improved the day to day. My mental health and my personal relationships have been on a steady decline.

I don’t have another job lined up yet. But I’m danger close to quitting and taking my chances with freelance. Could it be worth it?

At what point are you too specialized to lateral to internal audit?
