How long did it take you to receive your first promotion? I have 3 years of work experience, currently at my 3rd agency, and third associate position. Four people on my brand team have been promoted (across levels and departments, but none in PM). I'm getting sick of being pumped up with empty praise if others are actually being rewarded with accolades.

CTR, contracts and department overhaul

our marketing dept is undergoing a complete overhaul. under old leadership, a $75k 12-mo contract was signed to a marketing group that handles our SEO, blog and everything Google Ads. All things I can and am in training to do. Current CTRs on G ads seem pitiful at no more than 0.75%. My meta ads coast around 4-6%. During this overhaul, would it be wise to not renew our contract, and negotiate for me to take over these roles and leverage a raise?

The division I work at seems to have some weird shady Ora’s about it, unexplained spending, intentional lack of raise’s, and pay scales that are all over the map. I work as an AGM in a busy restaurant. Been working there for just over a year, and haven't had a single raise. I now only make 0.50 cents more than even the lowest paid shift lead but I am doing a lot more work. I'm no longer satisfied with these conditions. Does the addition of “(level) II” make a difference to anybody? I am the only marketing communications specialist for a lead child-welfare nonprofit. We oversee four counties in two circuits. Director recently gave me add’l merit-based raise (after my annual raise, been here 14 months) & slight title change to Marketing Comm Specialist II. No plans to add a level 1 (would be lower) specialist but will add level 1 engagement specialist to team. Should I update resume/cards or is this confusing?

I am in the Houston area at an energy related tech company as a software engineer. I have been working here a year and a half and got a 10% raise (70->77) but don't know if I am being undervalued. This is my first job in the field but I am evaluated as a top performer and have responsibilities like mentoring other employees and interns, delegating certain work items and make some of our major design decisions as we move forward.

I’m a very experienced veterinary assistant who has been doing this job for about 4 years in total however because of my skill level I would say I am more of an unlicensed technician. I’m looking for input on what I should ask for a raise. Given the minimum wage, I make about $5 over but that hasn’t really changed to match inflation of living, etc and truly feel like I should be making a decent amount more given my skills.
