[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

Deloitte experienced hires, who all received written offers and in process of visa/ onboarding, have you heard back anything about hiring freeze? Or recruiter asked you to delay joining date?
My visa got submitted couple of days back and waiting for decision. When I reached out to recruiter to give her an update and mentioned once there’s decision will discuss on the start date before putting my 2 weeks, she mentioned “Yes, we should talk before you put notice” - Am I overthinking? Hi there, I have 3.5 YOE working for NHS Finance. I applied to Deloitte Risk Advisory, Public Sector (London, UK) and was successful. Waiting to hear back with package offer but it’s been over 2 weeks - was told they may offer M2 grade, any ideas what this is?
I’m also interviewing for Senior consultant role also at Deloitte. How much would this typically pay?
Torn whether to stay within NHS as I will be getting an internal promotion or move to Deloitte.

If this was a personal trip it is a personal expense, cant expense it. have you tried looking at esims for traveling abroad? usually a cheaper and faster option
GPS or Commercial?
GPS of course. In commercial coach does not approve. Instead would have been audited and potentially reversed.
If your travel in December was a personal trip, then you need to pay out of pocket the difference between your normal bill and the December bill.
If you're traveling for work internationally, you should have called ahead and had the international plan turned on. You can probably still get the firm to pay it if you were on travel for the firm, but it's still poor planning on your part.
Btw, if you use your work for personal, you also need to be paying a portion of the bill out of pocket every month (I split it 20/80 which I think is pretty standard).
Rising Star
Be thankful - some of your colleagues in other countries don't even get a phone. We have to provide our own. The firm does reimburse contract costs but only on their chosen contracts - which are expensive and don't cover overseas calls or roaming data. Almost all personal contracts do and for a quarter of the price.
They will repay the contract cost but only with a fully itemised bill and up to 60% of contract cost.
My bill is $25 a month and includes everything, so I'd get back $18 for about an hour's work doing itemisation that's irrelevant anyway.
If you weren’t working abroad why do you expect D to pay the bill? Also, if you are nice and able, you could ask your Cel co. to put you on an international roaming plan retroactively. Did it once and saved $2k. The extra monthly fee for a year was well worth it.
