I have joined ACTI a month back in Kolkata in L9. I wanted to opt for Company Car Lease policy just to save TAX but finding it too complicated.
I had raised queries to payrole and they have replied with a suggestion to think twice before opting for this benifit.
What do you all suggest, who have already opted for it?Accenture

It's performance management season folks. It must be OP's first year with the firm. Yes, layoffs will happen, they have always happened, and will most certainly continue to happen for another few months and there is nothing wrong with that.

People don’t have a right to a job, plain and simple. You can quit any time, they can let you go anytime (other than protected reasons). We’re in the middle of an economic collapse.

That doesn’t jive. I tried to get rid of a low performer and was told that we can’t do that right now.
C1, I was being sarcastic but also talking from general, non company specific, experience.

A few people is not a lay-off. Performance management actions will still happen. People will just notice more
We literally just started our performance reviews this week (CRT’s) in Advisory US so not sure about any performance related “layoffs”. We just don’t move that fast but hey, I guess you never know. I’m in CRT’s as RL and ours is next week.
For Consulting Dan basically said Friday layoffs won’t start until the new FY. I’m sorry, “performance actions” will start (and wink wink we’re going to have more low performers this year). Maybe different in Advisory. I’m Consulting and zero headcount reduction so far in my OP other than a couple that seem voluntary.
Not really S&. From my time at PwC, S& was a clear cut strategy shop. Consulting is basically all facets of work that are not Cyber/Accounting/Audit, not dedicated to only strategy.
