Any IDOs you know of or how would you stay informed on airdrops for good projects? Looking at something like Klima that airdropped 100 coins to holders of $1000 NFTs on its launch. Those coins are worth $200,000 now. 200x return in a month. Do you basically need to poke around discords and get lucky?

You need to transfer them from CB to CB pro. It doesn’t reflect automatically
You can’t place recurring buys on cbp only cb. Don’t do recurring / DCA with cbp, sign up for Binance or ftx as fees are lower, coin price is lower, and they have less kyc.
It can be confusing at first. Try to understand that Coinbase and Coinbase Pro are two different products offered by the same company. The advantage of being in the same company is that you can transfer it freely back and forth between the two.
CB is really about convenience but it has a price. Convience includes nice interface (tracking, price history,…) and recurring buys, for example. It’s made to be simple.
CB Pro is for more experienced traders that want to set limits, for example. Recurring buy is not possible. If you want to buy with fiat, you have to deposit into CB Pro first. Look at your portfolio, click deposit, go to USD, add money. You can trade immediately with the amount you deposited (even if the money hasn’t arrived yet).
Holdings will only show up in either CB or CB Pro. But as I mentioned, you can quickly and freely transfer from one to the other.
OP, based in your goals, I think a blockfi or something similar might be a better bet for you. It’s very easy to use, still allows self custody, and provides apy on your assets. If you decide to go that route, pls consider dm’ing me so I can refer you and get some money. I’m poor after my margin call.
Thank you! This’ll sound very weird but I’m actively avoiding interest bc of religious reasons. Hence, blockfi is out. Thank you though!
I have to deposit money into CBP first, it seems. Not instant purchase
Any resource suggestions on where to do the research?
Thanks very much, Cooley! I only want to long term invest into BTC and ETH, so I’m doing now is depositing USD into CBP & I’ll DCA myself (buy every 2 weeks). Will be annoying if it’s not automated but I’ll do it manually. The trade fees on Coinbase is off putting so will stick to CBP. Thanks for the explanation!
Thank you; super helpful & love the limit idea!
