Do most people take a pay cut when moving from consulting to industry? We earn so much that sometimes finding roles that pay at-level is difficult.

Can anyone tell me the difference between a senior and lead validation engineer( no direct reports in both cases) in Pharma/ biotech ? I am not sure what’s the hierarchy and which level must get a higher salary. Or is it just referenced interchangeably in different companies ?

What is the best way to structure a discovery call for SaaS sales? e.g. share a deck, only focus on their use case (current state, goals, pain, etc.), share a story, etc. Lastly, how do you go further than surface level, like if they mention they are having issues with xyz, which is usually a symptom of the problem and not the problem itself. Outside of FAANG, what are good large CA-based tech companies that provide good pay, WLB, and culture? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good? 4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?
