Hey Fish friends! I’m an certified admin with 3yrs of experience. I’m looking to get more SF certs this year. My question is: what is a general IT cert that you can get as an admin to make yourself more marketable? I was thinking PMP or PMI-BA but I was curious if anyone here had other thoughts.

PMP would be beneficial if you are looking to go that route in your career. PMI Agile would be good if you're looking to stay on a technical track.

Scrum certs or data analytics certs would make the resume pop and potentially translate to day-to-day job stuff :-).

Hello, I am looking to make a career change that starts at a minimum 75K salary. The economy is tough right now and I can no longer afford to stay in my current role. I have a bachelors degree in Sociology with experience in managed care, utilization management, & clinical admin.. Does anyone have any suggestions for a possible higher paying career that I would be qualified for based on my background?

Any media peeps working brand side? If so, what kind of role do you have and what is different/same/surprising from your previous agency-side life? Especially interested if you pivoted in your career.

Doesn’t have to be high-paying, as long as it can support my life (single) and long-term medical cost. Thanks in advance.

We want to find a career that allows her to work remote or that at least gives her a better work life balance so that she can see her kids grow up. Ex-consultant now in marketing. Used to be an avid follower here and got great insights on companies when trying to exit consulting so thought I’d try here for advice. Outside of FAANG, what are good large CA-based tech companies that provide good pay, WLB, and culture? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good? A company along those lines.
