Hey Folks, which one is the best airline rewards program in - AA, southwest or United ?? I've been a Delta member always but no delta flights to my next client site.

Don't do southwest unless you can get the companion pass, otherwise you're cattle for no reason

like

Not sure what to use in Austin. Not a hub for anything, I'm always getting screwed. I stick with Delta for now because that's what I have status with, but I could be convinced otherwise. Anyone else know Austin well enough to recommend?

like

My dad has flown AA out of Austin for like 15yrs. Always has to connect in Dallas, though

like

SW. It's so much easier to use points and they go a long long way. Can't remember the last time I paid for a flight. Also companion pass status is great.

like

AA according to points guy

like

I just status matched from AA to United. They're pretty equivalent imo. I think it depends on what your home airport is. If you're in Atlanta, both will suck compared to delta.

like

The best airline is the one that best serves your schedule

like

Kpmg1 how did you do the status match

like

@pwc2 - wow that was great ! Thanks so much 😊

like

United

For personal travel do you do domestic or international?

D2 it's Almost equivalent now that AA is doing a devaluation

@OP which airline has the most routes in your city?

I'd say try AA and see what you think. If you don't like it, status match your united MileagePlus to your Delta Medallion

Sorry status challenge

Status match challenge? http://thepointsguy.com/2016/04/united-status-challenge-now-valid-until-2018/

I usually fly AA and Delta, but for international flights find best mile redemption and availability from United, closely followed by AA, and delta trailing a ton. southwest is more limited in destinations and is only worth it if you can reach the companion pass (remember they must travel the same route as you, so doesn't work if you are alt traveling)

Does he like AA? Seems like their planes are way worse than delta's, but I could be wrong.

@EY1 - I'd rather use them for international travel.

What is the avg and max CTC one can expect with total 7 YOE in IT operations (support) with last 3 years as a Senior Analyst/Team Lead?

I want to make a switch into the Consulting domain. I'm somewhat of a quasi-consultant in my current role, I like the Consultant job profile and feel I'm capable of doing well in this field. Also want to work at 1 of the Big 4 🙂. What are my chances - is it even possible for me to switch? How much hike can I expect?

I’m earning 42.2K p.a They want me to go full time as I am graduating however I don’t know what the base salary for an analyst with 18 months experience would be. My friend who works as an analyst (with less experience than me) is earning 70K. Would love to get a sense of what I should be expecting / asking for when I go full time. Thanks!

I regret choosing Deloitte India over USI, salary is same but i liked the clarity of my leadership team, which is still the same they are awesome, but USI people are getting many benefits, on time Hikes and appraisals, but i don't get all of those, which is kinda depressing.
I probably should have choosen USI
