Any retaliation should be recorded and speak to a lawyer
Report them to EEOC ( hostile work environment) but you only have 180 days to do so .
HR work sound risk assessment for the company. You journal with date and times what was said who was around you do this for a month you take your findings to the EEOC and you hire a private council if you absolutely cannot take it you leave and you will get EEOC involved and still hire a private council. Hope that helps.
Stick to your decision and document any further interactions you shouldn’t have to deal with a manager like that
Document dates times conversations paper trail seek an attorney that's not right
HR should be doing something about it first and foremost find out why the manager thinks that they can yell in your face and secondly have the manager fired and put on a "No Hire List" for that company

Wow that’s crazy! I would find a way to subtly record it. Then I would show it to HR and demand something be done.
If you do this, watch your state's recording laws. Are you in a one party or two?
I’m sorry that is happening to you! I was fortunate enough to find another job recently when I went through a similar situation. Many years ago I was told by a friend who works in HR that Human Resources departments are established to protect the company against lawsuits. Not protect employees from toxic work environments. More than likely your manager now knows you might have a lawsuit in the works. The attitudes might get even worse toward you. ChatGPT helped guide me through finding a new position while keeping my head high and exiting the toxic situation with grace. Best of luck to you!
Get a lawyer i did while working for Goodwill Industries VA beach va and nevertheless the manager is still employed but my case is moving forward, a lot of paperwork etc etc but it'll be worth it 👌 👍 LOL
HR protects the company if you didn't know
transfer out!
no manager has the right to treat you like that. if your manager yells at you, then you can ask why are you yelling?" if you stand up to your manager, they will think twice about doing that again. If they do it again then you can notify ethics
Nah, they won’t think twice about it. Not in today’s culture. You’re more likely to be told to “stop being aggressive” if you stand up for yourself.
Document EVERYTHING, only do what’s necessary, and FIND ANOTHER JOB.
Had the same thing done last year. I waited my abusive general manager out and did not fight back. My job was good except for him. If you like your job, don't let him run you off, or give him any excuse to fire you.
Everybody has to remember HR is there for the company not for the employees
Definitely document everything you can. Dates times and details of anything that could be retaliation or disproportionate punishment or work duties. If the person who is doing this is aware of your HR complaint and they still don’t care you probably have a lawsuit that could be successful. You just need to put up with it long enough to get the proof and evidence. Make sure to keep your performance at peek so they can’t blame it on incompetence or performance issues. and try not to bad mouth them even if you think you can trust someone.
Document everything like one of the previous comments below. Dates, time, witnesses e.t.c. You might want to send HR your concerns in an e-mail. They should respond to something in writing. If they don't, it will not look good for the company. Good luck.
The next time they ask you to train somebody either don’t train them wrong. Make them look stupid and say no I showed him the way you do it or just show the person the way to do the job and when the boss says, I think this guy is doing good just say thanks I’m the one who trained them not you.

HR protects the company... going HR is not necessarily going to solve your issue it does make things more tense. If the company union maybe would be helpful yet the union is being dismantle. Be aware laws that's in place for worker's protection are being removed like DEI & Affirmative action.
First things first HR is never your friend or there to help. Their only job is to protect company interest.
