I Joined PwC in Dec. I have 2+ YOE and I prepared for interviews from YouTube and did not have much hands on experience. Based on theoretical knowledge, I cracked multiple Companies interviews but now I am always afraid that I don't know anything and I'm on bench now so not much increase in the hands on exp.

Anxiety is increasing day by day, thinking how I will handle the project and my career seem to be finished. How to deal with such situation? Thanks

If you wanted to work for your audit client, could you simply quit without anything lined up and then reach out for a job at the end of your two weeks? Private company if that is helpful information.

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Is this normal?

What are some red flags you've noticed in the hiring process? I've finally landed an interview after weeks of applying. I think it went well on my end, but something about the managers I spoke with just feels...off.

I wanted to get people's opinions on leetcode, codewars etc when prepping for interviews. I am a junior full stack dev looking to move to a better paying junior role or a mid role and honestly these style of questions have always stumped me. I have found that in a year of work to have never found them useful in tackling real world issues. Now I'm moving from a junior to a mid can I still expect leetcode style questions?

I work mainly with react, TS, node, graphql, mongoose and mongoDB.

Is there an appropriate way to turn down an assignment because it is non-billable? Two of the partners I work for keep asking me to write client bulletins and articles with them, which is great, but now I’m starting to worry about meeting my billable hours requirement.

How do you turn off perfectionism? I always get stuck at the end of a project because it’s never “perfect.” Getting over that final hump from “must be perfect” to “good enough” for government work is tough. Looking for strategies to help me get things finished and move on.

What was the hardest class year for you? I used to think first year was by far the hardest but now I’m a third year and I’m really feeling the pressure to step up. I work in finance and at this point I’m expected to handle closing documents, manage first years, draft some portions of major docs, etc. I feel like I’m always frazzled, constantly second guessing if I handled something correctly and anxious to answer calls from clients/OC. The worst part is I think people can tell I’m a mess....
