I am graduating with my Master’s of Accountancy In May of 2022, and have offers from Moss Adam’s and RSM both in Dallas. Can anyone compare the two for me in terms of billable hours requirements and office culture or anything else that comes to mind? Both are in tax with similar offers.

I’m a 6th year associate at an AmLaw 50 firm. I received an offer to go in house at a hedge fund thats been around for a few years. Pay is identical to a 6th year associate in Big Law. Bonus is guaranteed for 2022. Culture seems legit and I believe work life balance is achievable. Is it worth making the jump to go from Big Law to a hedge fund that is in a growth stage? Thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for advice.  I was hired by a startup a year ago and very excited to join, but lately I was told I'm "coming off as too intense" when providing copy edits. I'm a copywriter. And I'm just doing my job—no one else here is a writer. I was hired to write copy and told by senior leadership I would own brand voice. It's the biggest gaslighting of my entire career. Hi! My husband and I are considering a geographic move from the NE to the SE (Atlanta, specifically). I’ve done preliminary research into the job market and I’m curious what the culture around hours is respective of the lower salaries I’m seeing. For instance, I typically work 1900-2100 hours a year on cravath’s scale + year end bonus. I’m also told the large Atlanta firms expect 1900-2000. So how do they justify the comp reduction? Is it not a “true” 1900? No flak if you don’t hit it?

My last day at my super toxic biglaw firm was Friday. Lateraling to a firm that seems to have a much better culture. I feel so free, but I also feel bad for my friends who are still stuck in that toxic place.

I’ve had several miscarriages in 2020 but had a successful birth in 2019. Does anyone have a positive story of a successful birth after recurrent miscarriages? I have no issue getting pregnant (my husband can look at me and I’m pregnant) but I’ve had an issue keeping the baby. All my labs- thyroid, immune issues are normal, a1c is fine. I unfortunately did not test any of the fetuses and now I’m mad at myself for that decision. Looking for positive stories as I’m ovulating this weekend.
