Hi all. I am planning to start reading books on investing. (I have a list of 10 books already). I was wondering for those who are well read, do investment books lead to ACTIONABLE things you do to your portfolio or is it just a mindset change?

Current portfolio:
28, M, LCOL
160k
50% safe Index funds
30% aggressive ETFs
20% Meme stonks

Reading is for learning. You shouldn’t change your portfolio every time you come in contact with a new idea but after a few books, you might know more and be able to build a better portfolio.

Also since I’m guessing those are stock index funds, they’re the opposite of safe.

Do you pay your credit cards in full every month?

I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). It got me thinking about how many people adhere to this advice.
