I currently work as an international tax consultant at Deloitte and am hoping to make a change to some type of field isustainabilty. I understand I can work in reporting or consulting most likely, but was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on what companies to target? I hope to have some level of work life balance (50 hours per week seems reasonable).

To sleep or not to sleep? That is the question... that I’m contemplating right now. At what point is sleep the better choice in the middle of a very busy week? Will I be more productive tomorrow if I call it quits and actually get a full 8 hours tonight? Or do I keep churning out half-assed work product until the wee hours of the night in hopes of catching up, since I’m already two days behind where I need to be?

How is work life balance in citi for java developer in consumer banking department

Previous company - bad work life balance, current company - bad hikes and bonuses which doesn't even cover the basic expenses.

I have also got an offer from Axtria.
They are giving me 8 lpa as ctc and 50k joining bonus and a promised 2 lpa retention bonus after one year.
If anyone at axtria can help what's the work life balance is like there and is it a good organization to join or not.
I am changing my field to Data analyst in Axtria.
Also, how long is the training period and is there any chance of permanent wfh ?

How is WLB at a MM fund different from a MF? I’ve heard MF are worse on average, but what makes it worse? Is it just the hours, or is the work also significantly different?
