For the people who earned the SHRM-CP, did you feel it was worth it? I have an indirect HR position, been applying for more HR focused positions and wondering if this would help. I got the CAPM (certified associate of project management) in December, but that hasn’t really changed things. Would love some opinions before working on another certification!

Looking for recommendations on a good book/resource on how to manage people, especially when you’re managing teams to achieve tight deadlines and also overall leadership for those teams. Currently on a project with tight regulatory deadlines and feel like I’m struggling to push people without pissing them off. Great learning curve for me and a good read seems timely. TIA!

Hi fishes, I recently joined Accenture, I am from manual testing background and they put me into monitoring team where we need to analyse errors looking at codes, logs and resolve it and the KT that is being given to me doesnt feel enough when I raised concern to TL, TL itself is blaming it on me that I qm not able to understand what is being taught, I am not able to work in the project at all, I requested for roll off within a month, will this imact my career at accenture? someone please sugges

This annual appraisal I have got a good % of appraisal increment on my salary but I was not promoted to a senior developer (although I have been mentoring a junior dev in my team and been part of building the project by implementing new technologies and tweaks) and my total YoE is 3.5+ years. What could be the reasons? What should I do now?

Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well? The IC gives vague “direction” then says they are too busy to clarify. They also refuse to use our project management/ collaboration tools.

I have a new direct report who’s at producer level and needs a lot of hand holding. I’ve been her manager for 6 months and she has yet to do anything without me telling her. Like at the start of a project she doesn’t immediately meet w creatives, work on costs/budget etc. She’s self described as ‘shy’ but doesn’t take initiative. She needs help responding to emails. I recently interviewed at a fast growing pre-IPO company for a Strategic PM role and I was sold that the comp should be around $180-200k plus RSU which should be about $300k annualized TC if all goes well. PEOPLE DO MAKE MISTAKES!! but My manager reacts very rudely everytime with me, And all seniors who are with him around 10+ years will assign tickets to me and they monitor me continuously.
