I need your help/advise on IT career. I have 9 YOE in IT industry as a manual tester and i feel lost now. Not sure till when i keep on surviving in IT as competition is getting tough now days. I tried learning automation as well but it seems that isn't cup of my team and i don't know my strength as well. (But i know that whatever task i do, i give my best)
It seems like i have become minimum guy and I don't know what to do to safe my future.

Can anyone advise/help/share ur thoughts?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!

I would like to learn more about development and real estate. Can anyone recommend any books or courses that you think are informative. Eventually I would like to own a few apartment buildings, but I know there is a lot I need to learn 1st. Any advice appreciated. 

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?

Need some inputs. My BU just went into a reorg which has benefitted me and I got a promise to a fast track promotion within 18 months of my joining. However, I’m passionate about a pm role and have got an offer for a rotation position. I’m not sure how to bring it up to my supervisor considering they made that promise only recently. How would you approach this situation

1. Is it fair to leave an organisation (big brand) after a year as the environment is real toxic and there’s no career growth as well in terms of good work.
2. If I have to make a switch do I really have to target big brands only or can try for medium and small size companies too.

With my partner we are considering making a move to the countryside of Switzerland, with a gorgeous RE project offering incredible views on immaculate mountains and lake. However, it is far away, and will require 1h+ train/car commute vs. 10 min biking right now. We are scared it will bite us back at some point, although COVID helped w/ remote working being a new norm. The project will be done 2024, so I hope to have a more relax job by then. So I'm in a startup (not Deloitte) and given current economic environment I'm looking to after 6 months now. got a call from naukri for an analytics firm which has ~10L for a role on most websites (ambitionbox). but after discussion basis my current ctc she's ready to offer 20-21 rest depending on interview.

little bit lost here whether she was kidding or what? any experiences on this new method of ghosting/faking by HRs😅😅🤨🤨

People these days are getting too much hike when they are switching. Why this trend is going? How long it will remain this way? I mean there will be saturation. If companies again start removing their employees then these people will be thrown first who will not able to justify thier package.

I'm having 3.1 years of experience in Software Development. Due to covid and health issues I'm unemployed now. I'm immediate joiner now. My CTC was 4.50 LPA and I got new offer of 10 LPA.

Should I join with new organisation with 10 LPA or use that offer as a counter offer and wait for another organisation who will ready to offer me 12 LPA.

I am a BCA grad hired into Deloitte in 2018 so 3 YOE. What should be my expected package as per industry standards?
