Want some feedback for Employees Assistant Program (EAP) by Capgemini which provides facilities to connect with Therapist.
Actually I am going through some tough times(going through a divorce), want to connect to EAP to discuss my mental health issues.
I had connected once and they say that the conversations are strictly confidential.
Just wanted to know do they really keeps stuff confidential or can they inform my Manager regarding the personal conversations.

Some days I feel like I’ll never be able to find love because I come from a complicated childhood, have a lot of problems and, I want someone who would understand me. But I don’t think I could ever open up to another person because it feels like I’m trauma-dumping despite this being a core part of my identity and I want them to know how I lived and survived til today. I feel like a nuisance

I hate it when people try to bond with me over trauma when their trauma is that they fight a lot with their spouse or they didn’t get the promotion they wanted. How is that staring death in the face??

My girlfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for 8 months now. We talk every single day online and recently I went to visit her for around a month. It was great and it seemed like the relationship was stronger than ever. But one week back after visiting her, I felt a strange detachment from her and our conversation topic got repetitive and stale quick. Any advice?

So I have been seeing a guy for 4 months. We have a pay disparity.. he earns less than I do (by quite a bit). He has mentioned a few times that he’s worried I’ll get bored of him when I know he can’t afford the same things I can. I think we are beginning to move past this, but now he’s starting to mention things like ‘I am really broke this month’, and last weekend he told me his mum has lost her job and he’ll have to probably pay her rent. I have a lot of sympathy for his situation … tbc

How do you and your partner (married or not married) split financials?

FML. I’ve been dating someone for 8 months and have been having doubts about the longevity of the relationship. This week he tells me he is thinking about leaving our city and working remotely. Even though I was already thinking about ending it, this hurts. I know I’m being childish - being rejected by someone who I was planning to reject! Has anyone actually found love at work? My best friend started at a new company 6 months ago and she just took an offer somewhere else because she and her senior manager fell for each other. After 6 months she knew it was worth leaving her job for! I’ve been working to an unhealthy degree lately. And I’ve been making the excuse that I have a lot of work right now, but I’m starting to wonder if I’m addicted to it. Part of it is anxiety and perfectionism. But my behavior is now actively harmful to myself and starting to harm my marriage.

Just switched to a gud org with gud perk,pay,project work but My boss is the epitome of a**h*** reasons-
Onboarded me on a huge project (12 phase proj) with no KT, only gave docs to read from.
He was handling this proj till phase 4 but has completely withdrawn out without proper transition.
I can't make decisions as he overrides/turns them
I have 2yrs experience & it's now my onus to negotiate with PPL in VP,EVP position and also handle testing & dev team
