I had 2 separate 45 minute video calls. One they asked me 3 behavioral questions (name a time when you had to xyz) and then we had time for q&a at the end. Very casual.
The other interview they asked more hypothetical questions to better u derstand how you problem solve. I felt I rambled off in that part of the interview but to my surprise I did well. My advise is just to remain calm and be specific with your answers. Good luck.
I want in!!’ 🥲
id say the interview questions provided on glassdoor by others that interviewed was the best study format for me. All of my questions were asked from that list. Format your hypothetical in the star method. good luck!
Hi. Are you now in the matching phase? I applied for the same role and had my first video interviews with other ABPs. After that I was given a “go”. Now waiting to be matched to a team for almost 2 months now. From what I was told from my recruiter is that there is a hiring slowdown. Not sure how long that will last or if it varies by location.
Thank you all, your insights are very useful! ❤️

Look into Jeff H Sipe on YouTube. He has some great prep videos for GCA interviews and specifically the ABP role as well. He wad a recruiter for Google and now runs his own recruiting business. Also happy to answer questions in DMs
In my case they are looking for a specif team in need of an EA, still waiting to know who I'll be meeting in the next interviews, I have a call scheduled with the recruiter for further details soon. How were the interviews with the other ABPs? Any insights?
I watched Jeff Sipe and he helped a lot too. I think my biggest advantage was that I spent a lot of time on the execs LinkedIn page and searched for articles with them and searched them on YouTube and watched all of them and mentioned it in the interview. That was mentioned in my feedback that they thought I was really prepared and researched a lot about the company and the exec I would be supporting. It really made me stand out!
I'm planning to apply there as well. I find the comments and suggestions really helpful! I hope it went well for you, OP!
