Hi everyone! I have an upcoming interview for an entry role at White & Case LLP, and I was wondering if anyone has insights on their interview process. What kind of questions do they typically ask, and any tips on what to expect? Would really appreciate any advice! Thank you! 🙏

Have you tried looking on Glassdoor to see if you can find any information on there regarding the interview process? That is usually my go to website when I am looking for any sort of information on a company. Might be worth looking into.

I do too - Mine is in HR though and from what I understand its a phone call, and then two interviews afterwards (but that differs on the team + sector).

Hi!

I recently did a job interview and I made it clear to the HR my expectation salary is 60k a year, non negotiable.
Today I got the job offer and they are offering me 54k. My current company is making me 50k with tons of benefits which is why I am asking for 60k.

Should I accept the offer or renegotiate?

Career dev advice needed. Being offered a promotion (would be reporting to my current skip and managing/growing a team). The role is global subsidiary management/governance. But the work does not appeal to me, I’ve been doing some of it and it’s so much admin and people management. I’m not practicing law at all. Love my current IC role and manager, get to work on strategic transactions and closer to the business. If my goal is head of corp legal one day, should I suck it up and go for it? Thnx!

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. Is this normal in the entertainment world? Any suggestions?
