Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

I’ve worked at both. PwC is the better and more professional firm.
Same and I agree
PWC are better auditors.

PwC because you can work remote!
@ey10 I think the idea that someone can be fully remote is service line dependent. I’m in GCR in the West and in the 4 years prior to COVID, I think I was able to WFH less than 10 days a year (usually cuz I said I wasn’t feeling well). Counseling families said you needed to be in the office and/or client site. Since mid March of last year I have yet to step foot inside an EY office again, but I’ve already had partners tell me about the importance of coming into the office/client site once things are back to normal and “those that choose to stay remote (because they don’t feel comfortable) or choose not to come in often will get left behind.” I don’t want to come in, but staff and seniors need guidance and I think the quality of the work has taken a nosedive since we are short staffed and there isn’t as much time to reach. I think the ability to work remote sometimes is a good choice to have, but I don’t think full time remote is viable in most service lines
I would go with the interviewers who gave you the best vibe. Your team is key to making your experience positive.
PwC
PwC for audit. They have better tech and better auditing software.
What level, group and geography are you in?
PwC bc the EY office is in Times Square
We moved to Hudson yards but I also vote PwC
PwC
EY independence restrictions are worse.
Your day to day is really going to matter more based on the specific team you're on. Then higher level stuff will be a company consideration.
I would typically suggest to pick based on who you felt most comfortable with in the interviews. Unfortunately, the people that interview you are not always the people who you will be working for so it’s really hard to say.

Congrats OP!
I used to work at CR before coming to Deloitte and it’s been a great experience so far 😀
I would pick PwC because they have better audit tech and don’t have unlimited PTO but like others said it’s more or less the same
If you provide the service line, rank, and office, I’m sure plenty of people will respond with honest feedback. Just watch out for the obvious Homer-like responses (like that PWC post yesterday). Crack is a hell of a drug
I got offers from both. I chose EY. And I’m NY as well. Can’t beat a 4-5 minute walk to office from Penn station. But I mainly work remote anyways lol. But I guess listen to the Deloitte guys advice. Go with who you felt you had best connection with. But honestly you’ll end up on a different team so doesn’t even matter .

Lol, having to get off at penn station is not a perk
Pick PwC. I left EY recently and don’t regret my decision.
EY has the most strict independence rules from all Big 4, if you have any securities which are restricted you must sell them before the start day.
