I want to withdraw my PF amount to pay off my education loan.
Currently I have 3.75 lakh(employee+employer share) as PF.
I have submitted 3.36 lakh as advance pf withdrawal on 21 April with reason 'Construction of house'.

Today its 4th may, 2 weeks gone but it is still under process.

Anyone facing the same issue?.

Also I heard TCS pf is Trust PF. I had withdrawn the PF amt after leaving TCS.
My TCS exp is 2.4 yrs, (IBM + PwC) is 3 years. So will my advance pf request be approved?

I make $101K base salary as a Consultant/Specialist at Accenture Federal in Washington, DC. My husband is a teacher making $55K. I’m 25 and have found a duplex I’m considering purchasing as a rental property. Planning on renting both units and have the cash to make the down payment without an issue. My cash flow analysis has a payback period of 3 years for my down payment and a 13 year payback period for the whole investment. I think financially it makes sense. Has anyone left big 4 or other PA firms tax transaction service groups for industry (or know of anyone)? What was the role and salary bump, how are annual bonuses/raises in industry, what is a typical work week (hours) like? I don’t think I can take this always on just to stay afloat life much longer. Would ideally target pre-MBA Associate level (one step short of post MBA level).

10 years in the company where I started, working my way up from jr. analyst to present Manager M2 - Market and Tech Insights (5 levels), handling 2 major global tech/consulting clients. Next level is Sr. Manager.

I'm at Kolkata. Started off with 1.8LPA, currently around 11LPA. BTech+MBA. Always get scores of 4 out of 5 (exceeds expectations) KRA YoY and pointless praises about how well I managed projects, yada yada. I get good work-life balance.

Is this fair pay or am I exploited?

I am a consultant working in one of the big 4. I have got a call from DE Shaw HR for a role in their Project Finance and Investment Research team focusing on Energy sector? Being an MBA in Finance graduate, I am in a dilemna on which path might be better I the long run -consulting (where I am more of a generalist, taking up random asks from clients and onshore stakeholders) or Project Finance & M&A where role might be more specific.

Do partners at top consulting firms have better WLB?
An Associate here contemplating whether all this is worth it.
