Hello fishes. I'm a MBA graduate currently working as a digital marketing professional in a mid size consulting firm with 3 years of experience.
I am terribly underpaid in my current org at 5.5 LPA after a recent promotion and annual appraisal. Another mid size consulting firm offered me 7.5 LPA but I am asking them around 9 LPA.
Am I asking too much or shall I take the offer of 7.5 LPA

Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. Series 7, Series 63, Life, CFP, ChFC, and soon to have my MBA with a focus in Mergers & Acquisitions. Hi folks. I have overall 5.5 years experience and an MBA from a tier 2 IIM (1.5 years post MBA experience). I’m in presales and I’m finding it extremely documentation heavy and sort of a back end role. I’m not sure how the career growth is in Pre sales. I am thinking of moving back to Delivery. It’s been 3 years since I (27F) moved to Seattle and still don’t have a solid social circle. Not necessarily a big group… I’m talking 3-4 friends who are easy going and not flakey/ hard to make plans with.

Idk if it’s due to Covid, Seattle freeze, a combination of the two or other factors. Any transplants out there who are NOT the outdoorsy type and feel the same? And if so, how did you get past it?

Hi fishes! I recently graduated. I got campus placed as associate analyst consulting in Deloitte in my 5th semester. It's been an year there was no communication from the Deloitte apart from the letter of intent. Now recently I received a mail saying we'll be onboarding in phases and onboarding will be completed for 2022 batch by February 2023 . Legit they are making us wait for another 6 months....like wtf is thissss!??!????!!!! Your opinion/advice/suggestions are most welcomed!!!

Here my question is should i take this opportunity. Cause since this is only for 6 months. After that, what i can do, where should I try to get the job?

While Indian consulting folks supporting the US folks do the bulk of the analysis, churning out the data and making the ppts, all the US folks do is attend meetings. Most of know basics of neither Alteryx, Power BI nor Tableau, while everyone in India is expected to know all the three. Most of the times we are expected to work till their afternoon (our Midnight)
