I’m in-house at a small company (60 people), started right out of law school about 5 years ago. We had a legal team of 5 then. Everyone has left and we just hired a new GC. Hey folks, I'm getting an offer as a SC in EY UK. Presently I'm a manager with EY India (up for SM next yr Oct 2021). Comp is 55k range (haven't officially received the figure, a few more days it's expected, doing some homework before that).

I'll be moving with family. Wife may not immediately start working (,find a new job, we have a toddler daughter as well 2 YO).

I personally don't find this offer commercially attractive. Can someone offer some counter arguments?

Am within the interview process for a TSC position at Google UK and have been asked to get ready with an offer expectation for total annual compensation (annual salary, bonus, stocks … etc) but am really not sure with 12 yrs of experience what to seek and what should be the proper grading level for such experience. What are the typical exits for post MBA strategy consultants (think tier 2 e.g., Parthenon, LEK)? Do they typically get a pay cut? I currently earn 90k base but have been getting recruiter calls for 70-80k (all insisting that salary will be lower outside consulting)

Recently offered Manager role at Deloitte UK with total comp of 86.7k and M4 as Grade.. Do you guys think it's a good offer? Moving to Deloitte UK from Deloitte US with spouse and 2 kids

How does comp change over time in industry? Managed to get a few offers, but they are all lateral moves on my current compensation. Also aware my compensation at a T2 increases my c.10-15% p.a. by just performing. What’s the trajectory like in industry? Am I going to regret this move? Thanks all
