Is it easy to transition from Senior Designer to Design Manager when switching jobs? I’m already given managerial responsibilities and I absolutely enjoy them, but the practice I am at gets limited number of promotions every cycle and I think that it can be discouraging and demotivating to wait for a promotion when it’s long overdue. Do you know any firm hiring Design Managers? Also open to transition within EY. [Deloitte Accenture PwC Newco BCG Digital Ventures]

Good evening fishes! Have an interview coming up with Oliver Wyman -was wondering if anyone who has appeared for the role of Senior/Lead Analyst at the firm (or if they are currently working there) could offer some insights regarding the process.
Thanks in advance - and have a cheerful rest of the day!
Hi, fishes!
I have an interview scheduled for this Monday for the role of Data Analyst. I was informed to be prepared with entry-level Data engineering topics as well as that role also has openings. I don't have much knowledge of DE.
What are the topics that I should focus on!? Pls, help.

I have cleared the first round of the interview with Seimens and my second round is next week. This first one was an online technical round and the second one is a face to face interview on site for which they have asked me to fly down to Bangalore (cost reimbursed). The HR said that there are only two rounds.
I felt that my first round didn't go so well but they still called me for a second. What should I expect from this?Siemens

I can share my story with you.
Year 2019-
I was working on some support project and wanted to switch on big data(on that time I was not sure about what is big data actually still trying to learn and switch)
All my teammates were switching and getting into their domain after preparing and they got very good companies and packages.
On the other hand, I was just worrying and trying and there was no luck.
Crying after every rejection but the next morning preparing again for other interviews.
I had given approx 40 interviews in 3 months of NP.
I had decided not to give up I will keep trying again and again.
Finally, after some attempts, I started getting offers not from 1 but from 8 to 10 different org.
Year 2022-
I have switched recently and out of 15 got offers from 12 and in others, I was rejected in the final round. Today I have the highest package (compared to market standards from experience and domain point of view)which I think is exceptional for someone of my experience.
Moral - Better than Yesterday
. (Never compare yourself with others)
Compare the old you and today's you.
Keep trying and have faith.
All the best!!
Would you mind telling us you tech stack, total yoe and CTC?
Keep up the morale ,those are not rejections they are learnings and from each interview you will learn something unknowingly that will help you to fetch ur dream job
Hey, Even same thing happened with me when I started giving interviews, But I have noted all the questions which I have not answered, Practiced for 1 month and now able to crack most of the companies now. I got around 170% hike. So dont take pressure dude. Practice and try to be cool while giving the interview ..
Note down the questions and then practice them.
Rather thinking about the feeling you have, better concentrate on the questions you failed to answer. Just by concentrating on that, you will automatically improve yourself slowly. Don't expect something to happen overnight, as you already had experience....... Just try to concentrate on topics and level of questions you failing at. Don't worry, everything will be alright slowly.........
dude, it happened with me too. Prepare the list of questions asked in interviews and prepare them properly. I did the same, now in tech interview, I have been able to clear every interview, but managerial got stuck 😋
You didn't get rejected, u got 6 crash course sessions. Now you know approx 60 questions which are asked in the interview.
Jot them down and find the answers. You will be better prepared for the next interview.
May be focus on your communication skills also
You are lucky that you getting this many interview calls. Hame to koi call he nai kar raha😃
Don't worry brother. Everytime I start my job search I take these rejections as a learning experience and I know rejections would happen for sure. You need to think it like this way that with every interview you're getting wiser and wiser. Eventually someone will ask you a whole lot of questions which you already know the answers to. Best of luck 👍
6 interview me hi haar mt maano bhai..
Mujhe har switch me 20+ interview lgte hain 😁
Don't feel demotivated or less for yourself by rejections. Sometimes it depends on the interviewer and also on the questions that were asked. Just get over it and start preparing for other interviews.
"Your day will come very soon"
If you are not mentally ready then don't attend interviews and lose your chances. As everyone said, collect all the questions from your previous interviews and prepare it well.
A question may come with lot of examples, so pick the right one based on your job role and answer it. All the best. You are a winner and you will crack the next one.!!
Bhai hoga dheere dheere. Firstly understand ki samne wala select ya reject krne nhi baitha hai. He wants someone jo uska kaam krde. And are you interview ready or not. Thoda padh lo fir confidence se baitho ki jo hoga dekha jaega.
Don't think much ...just repeat
Sometimes it is about the right opportunity ....my advice would be to practice and not to let any rejection affect the confidence
You guys getting interviews
What is your stack?
SAP Hybris

Try to keep improve day on day, see where you are lacking .. try to watch mock interviews on youtube.. read about your field and new in your domain .. keep yourself updated with market.
